Arkansas Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage (Part D)

Arkansas Medicare Prescription Drug coverage is available for everyone with Medicare. Medicare Prescription Drug coverage is offered in contract with Medicare by Medicare approved private companies.

You must join Medicare Prescription Drug Plan when you are first eligible otherwise you have to pay a late enrollment penalty to join.

Arkansas Medicare Prescription Drug Plans can be covered by two modes –

I.    Medicare Prescription Drug Plans which add coverage to the Original Medicare. These plans are called PDP’s.

II.    Medicare Advantage Plans in which Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B is already covered with additional benefits of Medicare Prescription Drug coverage. These plans are called MA-PD’s.
